St.Pius X Players Present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella

The St. Pius X Players will present Rodgers and Hamerstein’s Cinderella beginning on July 21st and running thru July 29th. This new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical re-invents the tale of a maid-turned-princess with fresh comedy, wit, and satire. With pumpkin, glass slippers, Fairy Godmother and other classic elements intact, it is now Cinderella’s turn to rescue the Prince, reminding us once again that in a cruel world the act that matters most is kindness. Featuring In My Own Little Corner, Impossible/It's Possible, Ten Minutes Ago and Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?

Cinderella is directed by Kenneth Beck, who was recently honored by Picayune as the Best Choreographer of 2016 and Gambit Magazine with a "Big Easy Award" for his recent work on West Side Story. With towering set pieces, special effects, and a little bit of magic from our fairy godmother, this performance is sure to excite. The cast of nearly 60 includes many current and former St. Pius students and Parish members. Please support the hardworking cast and crew and you are sure to have a good time!
